First, listen to this. Then, listen to this. I get the feeling Soltvedt and Bragg heard Mendes' version and were like "That's cute, kid, but let us show you how it's done." "Angelflare" appears to be the working name for the duo of Merethe Soltvedt and Chris Bragg. Soltvedt has previously provided vocal work for pieces from Two Steps From Hell, as well as other trailer music, while Chris Bragg's compositions can be found under the name C21 FX. No matter how you slice it, their rendition blows the original away like cheap tin roofing in a typhoon.
True! Sometimes when you hear the rendition so many times you can't un-hear it. This is kind of like... annd /music plays
I wish I could buy all this kind of music on iTunes. Where can I buy these? (And I know this one is on iTunes mind you)
It varies. Some groups have their own websites, some go through Soundcloud or even Bandcamp... Best advice I can give is to track down individual songs you like on Youtube and scan the description to see where the uploader obtained it from. A lot of the "Epic Music" uploader channels do list an Amazon or iTunes site for purchase LOL! Well... yeah, source material being what it is and all.
