Is it possible to spawn wolves in the Frontier?

  1. I have tried 3 or 4 times to spawn a wolf from an egg in the frontier, and each time it immediately goes aggressive. I tried a couple in a remote outpost, and just tried one just 1 block outside the protected zone of smp1.

    Am I just having bad luck with other mobs being too close, or is it that you can't spawn tame-able animals in the Frontier? How close is too close if that's the issue?

  2. I'm pretty sure it's possible. You probably have hostile mobs in the area.

  5. You don't need to go so far. Just build a small bunker to tame the wolves in. Make sure you have a few stacks of bones and then some meat to breed with. The bunker should be fully enclosed and put a bed just in case you make them mad.
