  1. I had to re-download the launcher and I ran the 1.8.9 version for the server. It was downloading everything it needed for the version perfectly fine. but, at the end, it starts messing up and saying [ERROR] Can't download "file name". It finally got to the end and said "Can't unpack natives" and just sits at the launcher with the play button saying launching. It does nothing after this. Can anyone explain?
  2. Maybe you should surf the code:p

    Maybe search up
    Can't unpack natives error
Or cannot download file name error
  3. I've been looking it up and the closest thing I'm finding is something about java not being in the search files and I have to fix PATH to get it to work. I have no idea what this is.
  4. If you think it's unsafe and harmful to your computer don't do it
If you think it safe JUST DO IT

  5. Is this a clean install of the .mineraft folder or just the version 1.8.9?

  6. The launcher itself was clean and came straight from the official website. It's only when I try to launch Minecraft on any version is when it starts to mess up.
  7. Try deleting your .minecraft folder. Back up your saves, and screenshots folders first.

  8. Just did that, let's see if it works.
  9. It did the same thing again.
  10. What Java version are you running
  11. The newest version
  12. From what I've collected from reading online. It is the launcher itself having issues. Could you post the full error log for me to see?
