[Idea] Auction Discount

The whole point of an auction is to sell an item in an easier format. This complicates things unnecessarily, and in the end you're only going to have to reverse the math for +25% to figure out how much an auction actually is.

It doesn't make much sense to me.

This doesn't make much sense to me really, I don't see how you could do this or why it's needed?

Making less money on an auction is not interesting at all

All this would do would be to artificially shift prices higher in certain auctions, and in general lead to price confusion. Many people use ended auctions as price checks, this would cause them to have to do unnecessary math.

Why have a portion of the cost, when you can have the full price?

I have trouble seeing how this would work... If you ask me, it would only cause confusion, frustration, and anger. People will complain about someone buying something for less than it was really worth and will beg for rupees in the town chat. I just see this becoming a problem for the newer/ younger members who will end up losing profit.

But I don't see how this would help/why it's needed. I can't see any actual advantages to it... (so basically I have nothing to add).

Also, people would just pay more. A 100k auction would go for 25% more.
