I'm fine with the Ultra Dramacore Survival being held on Mondays, less people, less drama.

Well considering how some of us actually WANT to have fun, you should re-think whether that would be a good idea.

Wow, you're hilarious. You continuously point out how something that Rainbow spends his time to do, you go there, and now you're acting like it's no fun. Why would you want to go in the first place if it's not fun.

Not bashing Rainbowchin, I'm bashing the event. It was originally fun, and then it turned to drama. I only go now to spend time with friends.

Today's was drama free and really fun. I think it was just the one 2 weeks ago that had loads of drama.

Good game, all. We had a pretty good turnout, too; I don't know why some people are complaining that it's on a Monday.

I don't know why people are complaining at all. This is not an EMC official event, it is something that Rainbow is hosting just because it is fun. I have tried to join 3 times now, and every time I have either been disconnected or the server was down. This is life though, things happen, so I am not upset about it. It is important to remember that this is just a 'game,' no matter how personal it gets.

At any moment, Rainbow could decide not to host these any more, whether it be from time constraints, or because of people who complain consistently and make it so nobody can enjoy the game. Just remember that when Rainbow hosts these at 4 PM EMC time, Rainbow is actually hosting them at 10 PM. Whether you agree or not, that is late for a lot of people, and I know that I would not want to host an event at 10 PM.

Rainbow has a real life too. I know that we all think of the staff as "living on EMC" for real, but they don't. They have real jobs, families, obligations. They have doctor's appointments, parents to visit, children to take care of. We need to remind ourselves daily and really appreciate what they do for us.

EMC is a great server, and has a very loving and caring community. I guess that is why when I see people complain at all about anything that staff does, it bothers me. There is a real person on the other side of that computer, and they have a real name other than the username we know them by. They have emotions too, and I can imagine how much it can hurt when they do something like this for us, and all that people do is complain about it.

I know that there are a lot of other great people on this server that feel the same way I do, and that don't complain about the things staff do. Although this post is targeted more at the people who unnecessarily complain about things, I believe that it is our job as a community to defend our staff members who do so much for us.

Rather than just ignoring the people that irritate us, or becoming frustrated with people, we need to learn to reach out as the great community that we are and kindly let them know that it is not ok for them to act the way they do, or to treat staff wrongly.

(PS. I apologize for the wall of text, just this is something I have been feeling for a while now. Seeing some of the comments on not only this thread, but others too, I felt the need to say something about it.)

A_little_fun and I had a really good time and made some positive progress this time. We actually found diamonds and also I made it to the nether. I didn't see who it was, but someone got a good lava attack on both of us before they bit little_fun's sword. With just 1 1/2 hearts, I found a nether fortress and collected some valuable supplies, but I was easy prey for a wither skelly. I really should have made myself a 2 block high panic room, but now I know.

Thanks to rainbow for putting the event on and dealing with the server issues. 10/10 would hardcore again!

I would just like to point out that in this picture, we were wearing the gear that we won with.

It's only held on Monday if there are technical difficulties on Sunday.

there are no technical difficulties its that the chuncks are not pre-loaded and so the terrain doesn't not generate.
