For a majority of Minecraft's history, diamond gear was the standard for elite gear. Its gear was stronger and lasted longer than iron, balanced out by its rarity and inherit danger since it often coexisted with lava, burning away with all of hard work to find it. Then the Nether Update happened and diamond gear was no longer the premier type of gear thanks to the existence of netherite. Forged by combining 4 gold ingots with 4 netherite scraps (the product of smelting ancient debris), a netherite ingot (and a smithing template) can turn any diamond into netherite gear, retaining its enchantments and wear. you now have gear that is best in class in all aspects with the bonuses of not suffering durability loss when burning or in lava and will never be destroyed in lava/fire. With this gear set, nothing will slow you down.

The enchantments are as follows:

Helmet: Aqua Affinity, Mending, Protection 4, Respiration 3, Thorns 3, Unbreaking 3

Chestplate: Mending, Protection 4, Thorns 3, Unbreaking 3

Leggings: Mending, Protection 4, Thorns 3, Unbreaking 3

Boots: Depth Strider 3, Feather Falling 4, Mending, Protection 4, Thorns 3, Unbreaking 3

Sword: Fire Aspect 2, Knockback 2, Looting 3, Mending, Sharpness 5, Sweeping Edge 3, Unbreaking 3

Pickaxe #1: Efficiency 5, Fortune 3, Mending, Unbreaking 3

Pickaxe #2: Efficiency 5, Mending, Silk Touch, Unbreaking 3
