I'm rendering a complex YouTube channel intro I made (with 3ds Max). It's going to take more than 36 hours to render
Yea, rendering takes time lol.. My walk test took around 5 hours to render and it was a very basic scene too.
3DS Max is a great program from what I've learned in Scientific & Technical Visualization I and II. Only issue that I have with it is the limited amount of textures you can create, like 36 last I remember? Which isn't that handy for having many custom items, unless you use the ones they supply =P
Nice. I have a free full version that lasts forever of cinema 4D My dad works for a company owned by Maxon. I haven't really used though, nor have I tried. I think I will get into it after seeing these. But basically for anyone who doesn't know, blender, maya, cinema 4D, and a few others are all programs made for rendering 3D scenes/animated videos.
