Was always a Yuffie fan myself. Yuffie and Cid. I liked her mischievousness. Man, I think I've played through FF7 at least 10 times from start to end in my lifetime... Kind of crazy, really, haha.
I agree Yuri is fun (it was... interesting how you get her into the party though...). Cid I feel like came in to late into the game for me to get to know him well. I think the only reason I like him is because he is in Kingdom Hearts I and II. I must admit though, Dirge of Cerberus is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games since it was so unique. My all other favorite character that is from VII is Zack Fair . :D
Now that I think about it, I'm kind of predictable too haha You're a fan of the mischievous characters, and I'm a fan of the reclusive quite characters who you just don't mess with and get away with it :P
Well, another and perhaps even more striking feature about my favorite characters is that they tend to be girls. FF7->Yuffie, FF8->Selphie, FF9->Garnet, FF10->Rikku, FF12->Fran, FF13->Vanille. I also thoroughly appreciated Paine in FF10-2.
HA that's awesome. I have only played VII and all of its extensions, X and X-2, most of 12 (I only got so far until my PS2 broke...), and XIII and XIII-2. XIII-2 might be your exception for your female favorites, since there are only two playable characters, a boy: Noel, and Serah (Lightning's sister). Noel is just simply a better character than Serah in my opinion.
Haven't gotten my hands on that game yet. Haven't really touched my game consoles in too long. The days are too short, and the computer is typically more tempting to use for me. :P
To be honest, I would highly suggest playing XIII-2 as soon as you can :) It is my favorite seconded only by X. And it introduces and portrays a hard concept to conceptualize: time travel. 0.0
