It's just a matter of opinions and maybe people might get hurt with the "junk" part of it (not me) :P
Also, what kind of music it's your favourite? (i think it's nothing related to electro or so xP)
Everything it's relative, and all you see around are just concepts, we just have to learn to live with them, or step aside.

It sure is an opinion, and I'm allowed to have those, aren't I? ;) It's not my job to cater to other people's feelings at all times, and attempting to do so is, in my opinion, a bad idea. It makes you into a "doormat". In my world view, it's the offended who's at fault if they are offended by something. I don't care for dubstep, it's everywhere, and I'm annoyed by that, so I wanted to complain. :P

My favorite style of music is Asian pop music, specifically Korean pop music. I'm not saying it's something everyone would like, but then again, it's a niche style, so it bothers nobody who's not seeking it out, unlike dubstep which is freaking all over the place. It's not like dubstep is making me lose grip on reality or anything...

Finally, I disagree with your presented (false) dichotomy. There are more options than choosing to live with something and stepping aside. You can complain, you can actively oppose, you can work to have rules and laws changed, and so on. As an example: When racism is about, is your only option to live with it or step aside? (Also, the character limit on these messages are annoying, lol.)

Have you ever considered being a teacher?

I did, yes, but I chose not to for various reasons. Most importantly, I don't want to support the current school system... and also, I like software development too much.

    Dubstep makes my ears bleed.

THAT SAID, I did find ONE dubstep song that I think you will actually enjoy (its the only one I enjoy that I have found thus far as well :P ). You'll probably recognize the violinist as Lindsey Sterling (she was in that Skyrim video). It really is amazing : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHjpOzsQ9YI

I'm not sure how you could predict that I would like it, but I sure did! Of course, it's really hard not to like Lindsey Sterling. She's like the archetype; aye, the very manifestation of talent.

Also, this can only be called dubstep by a long stretch. It's got the wobble bass in a few places and has the rhythm of dubstep, but it's lacking a lot of the other features (the ones that make most dubstep—in my opinion—unpleasant to listen to) of dubstep, like the "dark" feel, dissonance and general "heaviness" of the sound.

I agree its a bit of a stretch to call it dubstep, but since I find dubstep to be nothing but glorified earsplitting noise, I feel like Lindsey did a great job in making it likable by making it compliment her violin music. I was hesitant to watch it at first because dubstep is in the title, but I'm glad I did to say the least.
