   What knot are you trying to tie? It all depends on the knot, and the knot depends on what event you're going to. If it's a casual event, try a half windsor. If it's semi-formal, try a four in hand. If you wanna spend an hour of your life trying and failing to tie a tie, try the Eldredge knot. Dear god, is that thing ever hard.
