    Tnx for this, I may have to go for an i5 to keep costs down,

    Things I would like in it
    High end processor
    500gb ssd if poss
    8 or 16Gb DDR3 ram
    well known High performance graphics card
    Blu-ray player built in.

    Those that I have looked at so far don't seem to have blu-ray players built in

    Budget around £600 - £800 and UK based firm.

    Some i5s can be overclocked to a decent spec like an i7.
