    For like washing a car? I have seen them used before.
    If you mean for dishes in the kitchen, I have seen them in stores but consider them to be more of a novelty.

    I've seen sponges attached to cloth gloves for washing cars but I've never understood the point of them. They would have to be taken off in order to grab the hose, then put back on. Doesn't make sense.

    Ohh, interesting. I use a washcloth every time I shower, but it's not connected like that.

    Yeah, I did look a bit further into it and found out about washcloths. I still find it hard to imagine. :P Maybe I'll try using one with my hand on the outside once, to see how easy or awkward it is. :P
