Depends on what you need it for. I have a chromebook myself because it syncs up with my google account and is great for schoolwork. Also has a pretty nice art studio on it that is easy to use haha. The only downside is it can't run Minecraft because Java isn't compatible yet
It’s not just your budget to keep in mind but how you plan on using the system(s) is just as important. For instance, I have always used Microsoft, from Windows 98 to the current Windows 10 primarily for gaming and minimal business works. Apple from what I hear is considerably great for mostly business oriented workloads, though I don’t know personally. I hope you find one best suited for your needs.
I have on my laptop! For me it was as simple as undoing 4 screws, sliding the thing out, undoing 2 more screws, swap HDD for an SSD, plop back in and do screws, and then I just had to install a fresh copy of Windows. :)
This is my type of laptop you can see the SSHD which I am looking to replace, there is also a slot for an MSATA SSD although I understand this has limited capabilities not sure if its worth getting one https://bit.ly/2DCR8f6
I bought my SSD 4.5 years ago for 90 euros (±80 pounds)... it has a capacity of 120 GB... Prices have gone down so much, it's insane. Also definitely awesome though. :)
Regardless of what you get, I hope it all works out for ya Silken! I’m currently using a couple Samsung SSD’s - External/Internal. Those were more expensive than what I could of bought, but once you find out what all you can use, it boils down to price, quality, experience, and review ratings.
