Also Europe particularly hates you because you've done some bad stuff to us over the years (which is probably karma for us invading places and taking them over for nearly 1,000 years, but woteva, we can still be hypocrites) :P
Examples: NATO in the Yugoslav wars, the Suez Crisis (where you betrayed the UK and France in protecting stuff that was rightfully theirs), the current TTIP deal, among other things.
While I dont agree with everything you have said, I see where you are coming from. America does have te american dream, and patriotism is something to be proud of. You should think your country is the best, I know we arent the best, look at our unemployment rates and how much worse out education is than you guys'.
Nonetheless, you should believe in your country. We have had our feats and our defeats just like any other country and we've made bad decisions like other countries.
I find it particularly funny how much you guys over the pond hate us but still help us, as an example if a terrorist struck, your MI6 would be there to assist us or if we were on the front of war youd be there to help us yet our country was dounded by people who fled yours... lol.
All I am saying though is that if Trump is elected, how much help will our allies offer us. Mexico wont do shit for us with Trump leading, you all over the pond hate the guy already, and soon enough he will ruin everything this country has worked for.
And let us not forget: you guys fought us once too and we won that fight. To quote a recent novel I read (2nd main character is British Director of MI6) "You guys are lucky we dont hold grudges" (speaking to the director of the CIA).
Patriotism pretty much = "my country is better than yours because I was born in it". Nationalism is annoying and is often no better than what these same people get annoyed at radical Muslims for doing.
I mainly just hate the US for bombing Serbia in the 90s (I might have become a little biased due to my Balkan relatives and a very close friend being Serbian though...), forcing Europe to do what they want
(our countries are 1000 years older than the US, let the big boys do the work thank you very much), trying to bend the world to its will, and acting like they win every war they get into when they've never won one without France or the UK tagging along :P
Just saw your other stuff: we only get involved because our politicians want us to get involved or get put under pressure to do it by the US. The people here don't want to get involved (besides a few English people in London, but the rest of the country ignores their existence because we hate them lol), and we'd much rather just keep the wars away from our borders.
Also the US didn't win their war of independence against England. We were kicking the shit out of you until France and Spain intervened and starting attacking us back home :P
Thats not at all what I mean by patriotism. Patriotism is more of a term to me, that describes someone who is proud to be a citizen of the country they live in. It has nothing to do with being "better".
And Serbia wasnt just the US, that was carried out by NATO (and the only countries that opposed to using real military action were Russia and China). And its the American way of life, making people do what you want. jk... but we do do it though.

And Serbia was, yes, indeed NATO action - but Russia and China weren't the only ones who refused. Greece voted no to bombing them, and were the only ones to do that, and got painted as the bad guy for it.
You guys were kicking our butts at the biginning but then Seratoga happened and we dealt such a large blow to you guys that France decided to join with us. While you are right, nobody actually won the war. It ended by one of your generals surrendering to us and 2 years later Britain signed treaties with France, Spain, and us. And you likely have posted another comment already by time of me posting this lol
Also disclaimer; I don't agree with what Yugoslavia/Serbia was doing, I just think it was wrong to bomb them. I also don't like what either during any of the Yugoslav wars was doing. And also because I know a Serbian and an Albanian and both have been told mixed things about that war (both still hate eachother's nationalities though lol).
If Jeremy Corbyn wins our general election in 2020 (if he keeps going the way he is and the Conservatives go theirs, he'll be in a bigger lead then than he already is), we won't be following you into wars anymore (we'll also probably lose our nukes and our army will be shrunken even more) and he'll cut off our special relationship, so... probably won't be 'blended' much longer :P
