I was hoping it'd be a HD remake type thing of Battlefront 2, but nah, it's just a game that appeals to 'everyone' except the people who actually played the old games. It's not even on the scope Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 had, which is beyond ridiculous. I'm playing it when the Beta comes out to see if my complaints are as valid as I think they are,
Reason number one why you shouldn't own a Mac... :P (in all seriousness, D: + Macs are cool, as long as you have a decent Windows PC if you like to game since game developers hate porting to Mac, apparently :P)
Considering that I've been playing since the very first one was released... I'm still buying it because that franchise is a huge part of my childhood. EA did a pretty good job with the battlefield franchise so I'm not that bothered that it uses the same engine, I just hope they don't begin introducing micr-transactions and petty DLC (which they said they wouldn't, but I don't trust EA).
I've been playing since the first game was released, and I put well over countless hours into it throughout my childhood. I still want to buy the game, but it just feels wrong to. You need power-ups to use vehicles, you can't just go and pick one up, and the maps are like corridors. Plus, AT-ATs are on rails :/
