  1. not yet...
  2. Man. Being an admin on a Minecraft server costs thousands of dollars.
  3. She knows not what she speaks...

Windows is installed to the SSD.

24gb of ram was due to it running server clients, sometimes multiple at once.

  4. That amazing rainbow backlit keyboard

Is your mouse backlit as well?

Also what does it get when you over clock it?
  5. How do you even use 5 gigs at idle? I'm using 2.7 gigs with 3 chrome tabs and skype open. I give Minecraft 2 gigs and find myself needing nothing more than 5 gigs ever, even under a rendering load and 10 tabs at the same time even though I have 8 gigs of RAM total. You must have a ton of background processes, I'd check through those and get rid of the ones you don't need as well as giving Minecraft 2 gigs because 8 gigs is pretty overkill for such a simple game.
  6. This makes me feel poor, but it also gives me something to strive for.

  7. Loving Sylvester McCoy's face on the right monitor.

Also, those LEDs on that keyboard <3
  8. I have never understood why Windows 8 is so disliked by people. Windows 8's desktop is the exact same as Windows 7. The start screen is a large/informational start menu, and the metro applications can almost all be uninstalled or ignored.

Your build makes my small laptop with an integrated graphics card feel bad about itself.

  9. I prefer Windows 8 :)

  10. The start screen is exactly what kills it for me. That, and the fact that some indie game companies choose to make their PC games for 7 and nothing else. Allow me to explain why the start screen turned me off from the beginning.

It's big. It's ugly. I don't want to be reminded that Microsoft has forced IE to be a permanent part of my build everytime I open the start menu. I don't need such huge icons to find an application. What's wrong with searching a little bit, or organizing your favorite apps yourself? I have even been told by my friend whom has a major in computer science to stay away from 8. I'd tell you what he told me, however it probably would not be appropriate as it wasn't a very professional conversation.

You can feel free to choose Windows 8. Free choice is great and I support it. But I may choose to disagree with you, and I choose not to support an OS that just looks like it's babying the consumer.

then again this is all moot since 10 is coming out within the next year, huh...
  11. 1 thing i see is alot of money xD but 2. it looks amazing! :D
