  3. EMC can do marketing, but so can we. Get an EMC signature and stick it in your signature on other Minecraft forums, tell your friends about us here, make YouTube videos, anything!

    I don't trust server adverts. Never. What I do trust are community members telling me what's so good about server, so get our name put there!

  8. If we all post high quality pictures of the best buildings on EMC on www.reddit.com/r/minecraft, and post the server IP in the titel 200.000 people who are active there, will see it!

    The system of reddit is: the post with the most "upvotes" (=likes) gets to the front page, where most people look. If we all post pictures of the best builings on emc and upvote them, we will gain a huge attention!

    To add to that, we are #116 on Minestatus. #116. Frankly, that sucks. Let's make sure we all vote in the early days of November to return EMC to its rightful place at the top. Not some stupid OMGTEKKIT server or Savage Realms - EMPIRE MINECRAFT.
    Hmm... Maybe I'll post the Shard there when it's done. 2585 SMP1.

  13. Yeah, we need some more partnerships... Probably getting way ahead of ourselves but we could try and sponsor or be partners with Minecraft Wiki, PMC or other big sites.

  15. When I joined EMC 200 days ago, I used to have to wait or donate just to get on. Now the server is sad and alone because only 1/4 of the people still play. What EMC needs is a big attraction to lure in people and make them remember it forever.

  17. Not that I disagree with anything in this post, but I would just like to point out, your time zone can be of affect of some players. There were nearly 300 players on today. SMP9 was nearly full all day. There were 40 for a long period of time on 8 and rarely below 30 on smp 7. And those numbers have been pretty close to the same for me all week. I have been watching.

    Not saying we do not need a boost in player side promotion, that is always appreciated, and a great help. Also everyone remember you get a 500r bonus for referring people.

    But, its not as dire as you make it xD. I just wanted to share the numbers with everyone. If you compare this to the days of when there was only one server, 300 online players looks pretty nice, and even now after most of the players have gone to bed, we have 175. Tell me another server that runs that heavy with the little amount of lag we have :p. Just saying.

  18. Im not saying that it has been empty. Actually, I didnt even know, I havent been on since Sunday. But there were 2 people on Smp6, and 19 on Smp1 earlier today. But, the server sill isnt as full as it used to be. Even in the middle of the day, I see less people on then you claim to see.

  19. I read it all, agreed, i am ashamed to say that EMC is kinda boring for me these days, i mean, ive got rich, i made amazing stuff ive got a shop(had) now what? IVE MINED OVER 12 STACKS OF DIAMONDS. everything is boring now, this needs improvement,

  20. I absolutely agree with you, I did take this into consideration when I wrote this though and included the sentence about the server still being basically empty when America is waking up. But I'm sure you know, for us Australians the servers are completely empty during the day, especially on weekdays. Weekends are alright for me.

    It's true, "not as dire as I made it out to be" but I want this problem noticed and the player numbers have dropped RAPIDLY in the past few days. We have to take care of it before the numbers lower even more :)
