Hey guys I have been on a few forums (Nerf related) that have a chat box...This feature enables people to join at anytime and just chat away to each other. Of course there should be moderators and stuff but yeah.... What do you guys think?
While it would be nice, it really adds alot more burden for moderation. Not having enough moderators is already a huge player concern, and to think about having yet another chat to have to monitor is a bit scary. I wouldn't throw the idea away completely, but realize its not likely to happen any time soon, solely due to moderation needs, and then combine in rules/policy/security of it (easier to script stuff like spam scripts for browsers than ingame, where in game has stuff to auto ban you)
