[Suggestion] Block players who dont have access to your resdtone items from using it Anti-Greif!

  1. Hey EMC,

    Since there is the Anti-Greif, Players can make Protected machines with doors and all, But I find one issue, is if you have a Iron door and its protected, Players can use a redstone torch to open the door, So why not have it where players who have perms to remove the door, but anyone that does not, cant....

    This will help players who have coded doors to stop players from bypassing it.

    Just one of those side bugs/suggestions to help players with coded doors and so much more....

  2. This, like your other suggestion, will be solved by Empires.
  3. One possibility is to invert the door, so that it blocks the way when it is opened.

  4. I use piston doors. Pistons are powered in the extended position. When you put something in a chest or hopper (locked) a comparator puts out a signal that kills the torch power. When item is removed (or filters out of the hopper) the door closes again. You control access by the names on the lock signs.

    Only one caution here: blocks are ONLY protected in the position in which you place them. I have tested this thouroughly. While pistons are extended, place blocks where you want the door to be. If you have the piston retracted and put a block on it, it is no longer protected once the piston moves it! Wether pushed or pulled, if the block is not where you dropped it, then that block CAN be broken. Once the piston moves it back where you originally put it, then it is protected again.
  5. If the suggestions will be solved by Empires. Then perhaps it's time to start throwing us a bone with info about what Empires will consist of. Of course somethings might change or be added but It might be a better route then having thread after thread of suggestions.   6. We've described Empires as a res system for the frontier on multiple occasions, though with a few extra bonuses and some minor limitations. So simply reference the current res system that is town for the protection aspect of it.
  7. What about those who can't have empire's as it is too close to spawn and others places...

    This is more or less where it is needed.
