This is the opportunity cost of not using a fortune 5 ore buster on your diamond ores, and it adds up. If you mine a single stack of diamond ores without any fortune enchantment, you've lost an average of 137 diamonds! If you only use fortune 3, you've lost an average of 60 diamonds! And who wants to throw away diamonds? Unfortunately, ore buster is very costly (130k) and most people obviously can't afford to buy one or don't want to lock that much money away in such a huge investment. Behold, my new ore buster rental service, allowing you to rent the ore buster per-use. The cost is only 500r + 30r/ore. For a stack of diamond ores, the cost would be (500r + 30r*64 =) 2,420r. You can also pay in diamonds. 7 diamonds + 1/2 ores. For a stack of diamond ores, the cost would be (7 + 64/2 =) 39 diamonds. To see the value, let's look at the math. Without Using My Service (No Fortune) One stack diamond ores => 64 diamonds. Sold for 75r each, you earn 4,800r. Without Using My Service (Fortune 3) One stack diamond ores => average 140 diamonds. Sold for 75r each, you earn 8,960r. Using My Rental Service (Fortune 5) One stack diamond ores => average 202 diamonds! Sold for 75r each, you earn 15,150r! After the rental cost (2,420r), you are left with 12,730r! 3,770r was generated out of thin air! Plus, you never had to use your fortune 3 pickaxe. If you choose to pay with diamonds, then you'd get 62 extra diamonds at a cost of only 39 diamonds.
