Very sad news today... Sally Ride has died of pancreatic cancer at 61. If that sounds familiar to you, it's what killed Steve Jobs last October. She was the first American woman ever to fly into space on the space shuttle on the STS-7 mission. She was a pioneer that inspired many female astronauts to follow their dreams into space. Rest in peace, Sally Ride.
