(QUESTION) What does bomb mean in emc auctions?

Discussion in 'Community Discussion' started by Stnywitness, Dec 29, 2016.

  1. I have seen so many people say it and I don't know what it means. Answers anyone?

  2. Do you mean "bump"? If not, I'm not sure. I haven't seen "bomb" on any auctions

  3. I am sorry, I meant 'BUMP'
  4. If you mean bump, it basically means "bring up my post"
Auction hosts are allowed to do this 3 hours or more after the most recent post to bring their post back into the recent threads list.
  5. And bring up my post means what?

  6. It literally means to bring up a post.
  7. There is a list on the homepage of this website that says recently active threads. It has threads everyone sees that people just posted on. When you "bump" you put your auction on that list in hopes others will see your auction thread and bid a higher price.
  8. You can only bump an auction to put your auction on the recent thread list once every 3 hours so spamming is avoided.
  9. Ahh...okay. Thanks everyone

  10. Glad we could help. They're like mini ads for the auctions basically.
