So, earlier today I wanted to create a piston door design. While this is a relatively simple redstone design, I wanted it for a minerail. This would mean having to move a rail on to and off of a block. While this mechanic is a part of vanilla minecraft, it has been disabled on EMC. This is because of a bug in the game that allows players to duplicate rails with pistons. I am hoping that staff can reinvestigate to determine whether this system could be enabled. This is a vanilla feature that has a lot of uses beyond just creating cool doors. The ability to create intelligent rail stations is another important aspect of this system.
I am bumping this hoping to get a staff response on this. I am not looking for any promises, just that it could be looked into when there is time available.
I would also like this, I know of an elevator design I would like to do but can't because the piston pushes and pulls the rail.
