nooby need help

bought the game yesterday after watch 10 hours or so of video. what i cant seem to find is the chat command i see in single play its the T but even in singles player i cant get to chat. what am i missing.

Try browsing the Empire Guide; it contains a wealth of information.

If you are talking about chat, for 1.2.5. You need a mod called Single Player Commands.
If you are talking about chat, for the latest snapshot you need to change the .jar file in %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft/bin that says minecraft.jar Hope it helped
