Minecraft Crashes upon joining Server (Client & In Browser)

Minecraft keeps crashing whenever I try to join. I haven't made any changes to my computer so I'm assuming everyone else is having the same problem.

I can connect about 25% of the time; apart from that, it just freezes.

i had that problem 30 mins ago. i just deleted my minecraft folder ( i kept my saves and text packs in another folder ) and redownloaded the cleint. it worked fine.

Try restarting your minecraft, restarting your computer, or resetting your minecraft by the method mentioned above. If none of that works, come back.

Happened to me earlier. I waited, it fixed it's self.
Is it the same case for you guys?

Delete:
C:/Users/NAME/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar

Open Minecraft:
Click [Options]
Click [Force Update!]
Login...

And it will reinstall the game file for you without loosing any other data.

As for a Mac - Same process, different location.

I dont have this problem, people are talking the can't connect to minecraft.net? I dont have that problem to...

I've just done a check. It was the session server that had a 25% failure for about 2 hours. It was fixed about an hour ago.

I dont even logged in today, derp...

well that was when minecraft was down

Which seems to be 10% of the time...
