I assume you're talking about how it hasn't all updated? This is normal with each update, as the map doesn't automatically reload the thousands of chunks generated and only changes the ones that have been explored. This isn't necessarily an "issue", although you might be able to convince Aikar to reset it. (If this isn't what you're talking about, please explain what you really meant.) I do agree it would be nice to see the full picture.
I was kinda thinking more the unloaded chunks look like loaded chunks if they were loaded during the reset and it is hard to tell the difference.
I can relate to this, I was using the live map earlier to find a savannah biome; although while the live map said i was in the center of said biome, i was actually in a boat going through deep ocean in-game...
