I had a number of legacy villagers from before the update, and now they have suddenly all despawned. They had some unique hard-to-get items and I am going to miss them greatly. Was this an intentional thing, or a bug?
The staff has said they are trying to figure out what is causing this problem. Maybe it would help them figure out the bug if you post a few details. What smp were the villagers on. What date and approximate time did they go missing? Were you on the residence when they disappeared or had you disconnected? Had you added anything substantial to your res recently? Did you notice any lag or other problems around the time of the disappearance?
Just now noticed your questions; I filled in the questionaire regarding the mysterious disappearance. I don't know when it happened, they were gone from my residence when I went there, but I am not at my res every day. Haven't made any changes to anything there in a long time lol. Wonder if we will get the 1.7 villagers back, I miss those guys - they had unenchanted diamond gear.
