Do hostile mobs spawn in jungles at night? I have been collecting saplings in a jungle all night and have yet to see a single hostile mob, just some cows and chickens? anyone have any info on this? perhaps i misses somewhere?
I don't know where you are, but I want to come visit! So may hostile mobs spawned on my little jungle island that I had to shave off the top layer of the hill just to fill in the creeper holes
They will not spawn on leaves I believe and since a lot of jungle floor is leaves there is not many places to spawn.
Maybe that's why I got so many. I went through several shears clearing the floor to make the kitties easier to catch
