Hi there, I started playing Minecraft way back in the old days of yesterday. I browsed a few servers and settled on this one. I've been having fun running around and learning the game on my own. I keep thinking I've created an epic mine then find out I've just dug into the side of someone elses...ah well. Anyway, this is hello from me and I hope to see some of you guys on the servers. Welcome to the Empire, Barks! You're doing better than me when I first started playing Minecraft. My first night scared me so bad that I played on peaceful for a month before being able to move up to easy.
Well I don't think I've been scared yet! I've had a few "Oh sh.." moments where I've decided it was a good idea to dig upwards and hit water. I've learned the joy of livemap since then. Still loving the servers though.
I spent about half an hour in the nether...alone...lost. I think I'll try again in a few weeks when I know what I'm doing.
You have access to the livemap, by clicking the 'servers' link at the top of this website, then selecting the livemap for the particular server you are on. From there you can view yor position in town/wilderness/nether. Also remember that at this stage, as long as you dont attack anything, the only dangers to you in the nether are lava, blazes and magma cubes. Pigmen wont attack unless provoked, and ghasts fireballs currently do not damage. I dont even take a sword with me into the nether anymore
