I humbly offer my services to build rail lines for you, so you don't have to. Included options in hiring me range from scouting routes, tunneling, bridge construction to water/lava mitigation, mob-proofing, and creating tunnels both through water and along the bottom of water areas. Terra-forming and all above options are included in whatever price is agreed upon. Hire me, and you'll get a world class railway to be proud of! - Andy
Do you have examples of your work? Like a portfolio or something. Also, do we supply the items needed or do you?
Pricing breakdown is as follows: A project on your town res is free as long as the materials are supplied. 50-75 rupee charge if I supply my own materials. Small projects in the Wild are 100 rupees. To qualify as a small project, the number of rails must be less than 2.5 stacks of plain rail. Medium sized or very complex small projects are 300 rupees. To qualify as a medium sized project, the number of rails must be between 3 and 9 stacks of plain rail. Large sized or very complex medium projects are 500 rupees. To qualify as a large project, the number of rails must be between 10 and 16 stacks of plain rail. Megaproject pricing can be negotiated. Options here are breaking down the megaproject into small, medium, and large builds, or a totally custom agreement. Megaproject materials source (me/customer) also worked out in the agreement. To qualify as a megaproject, the number of rails must be equal to or greater than 20 stacks of plain rail. All projects in the gaps between specified number of rails will be split between the two price points. For example, if a small project goes over 2.5 stacks, the price will be 200 rupees., and if a medium project uses more than 9 stacks of rail, the price will be 400 rupees. For the medium and large projects, i will supply the rail unless the customer agrees to supply the rail, in which case there will be a discount based on how much of the rails are customer supplied. Miscellaneous information: Any project of any scope/size in a dangerous area will have a 10% hazard surcharge. Dangerous areas include over open lava in the nether, around active spawners in mineshafts, over 16 blocks of air for more than 20 block lengths in any direction, and over ravines. Oceans, lakes, and rivers are not considered dangerous areas regardless of the above qualities. Mob-proofing may be difficult and take extra time and planning or altering of the original plans in areas where there are multiple active mob spawners including inside mob farms and in caves/mineshafts. All projects require build flag permission, as well as storage and move permission where applicable. Alternate payments if the customer is low on rupees can also be negotiated. - Andy
I am working on taking some screenshots of my work on a previous server, as well as some builds i did on my own in single player. There is a small demonstration of the building style i prefer on my smp5 residence. I prefer to power the rails underneath by redstone torches, but i am flexible on this, especially if the project calls for some other power scheme. I also prefer to double track, with a 3x3 blocks "right of way" space. Check out the last part of this video. It has some description of the stuff i built on that other server https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys6C5qkhyVM - Andy
