Hello fine people of EMC. I'm in the process of building a Mall at 8006 on Smp4. I've stopped building because I've run out of ideas. The mall looks ok as it is right now, but it's far from done and I can't think of anything to improve it. The floor isn't finished, it lacks in color, and it has a very plain look. I can't think of any designs/ideas for the mall so I thought I'd come to the forums for help. I've attached some pictures below to give you an idea of what I mean. Floors aren't finished, can't think of a design to my liking. Looking up, the floors are very plain and gray. Also can't think of a design for them either. I need help with mostly interior design/detail. I have never been good with it. I can build the face/shell of buildings but I can never build the inside. It always comes out plain, too symmetrical, and boring. I know there are a number of great builders on EMC, hence why I'm asking for help.You can take a look at the mall yourself if you'd like, once again, 8006 Smp4. Post below if you have any designs/ideas to better the building. (screenshots would be helpful) I hope someone can help. Thanks
What I find really pops with anythign grey/white/silverish is either orange or blue so you could try adding some blue or orange to your design such as orange stained glass windows and maybe blue clay floors, or perhaps a blue wool drapes on the sides of the windows
Makes multiple floors and saves on materials also it looks kinda cool but to me it lost it's appeal when everyone started to do it...
