1.11.2 needs pack_format 3. I changed the 2 to 3 in pack.mcmeta: { "pack": { "pack_format": 3, "description": "Made For da homies" } } and the "made for an older version of minecraft" message disappears. There's not all neccesary resources in the pack either, for example, there's no iron_nugget.png which 1.11.2 needs. Shulker stuff is missing as well. Maybe there's more that are missing, I didn't check every single one.) But MC loads and uses the resourcepack just fine, and falls back to default on the missing textures.
