Clear it with a mod first, but I say you should resell. I put a stipulation in my auction postings that I was free to resell after 48 hours because I was afraid something like this would happen to me. Only a matter of time, really. We all know that pick is worth way more than you sold it for, and I think you've held up your end of the bargain.
