So far we've had pretty standard numbers in these auctions, but YOU can make the difference, you can bid numbers that don't end with 0, you can bid prime numbers, cousin numbers, the posibilities are endless (literally).

And 4.398 rupees per spider eye is still a tad cheap, even for an item as useless useful as spider eyes.

If anyone wants to continue with boring bids, the next minimum valid bid would be of a boring 6050 rupees.

I'm not sure it's an invalid bid, it's a weird one, but after all I just asked for interesting bids. All I could find about valid bids was this:

And it doesn't mention decimal bids, which can easily be rounded once it's time to pay. I mean, my local supermarket has price tags of up to 6 decimal digits, both in the bar codes and in the receipt they give me, but once it's time to pay they round that down to 1 decimal digit so I can actually pay (10 cents is the lowest coin denomination here).

So, until a moderator says otherwise, I will consider sideshowallie's bid as valid, and should he win, I will charge the rounded price (after all, I think the imagination to actually bid that more than covers the 0.0453872)

I do have to ask, what is the significanse of the 0.0453872, I've been trying to find it, but so far I have not.

Lastly, the next boring minimum valid bid is of 6,605 ruppes (regardless of wether or not sideshowallie's bid is valid or not, since the minimum bid is calculated as 10% of the last valid bid, rounded down, so even if sideshowallie's bid results invalid, the minimum is the same, since samsimx's bid is then valid again)

And in post-lastly, there are lots of interesting numbers restricted to the domain of the integers, so think of those if yo want to make an interesting bid.

Did I offended someone with my last comment? Because this has gone strangely quiet around here; if I did, I apologise, sometimes I'm overzealous of written rules, and english is not my first language, so sometimes things don't come out exactly as I expected them.

Anyways, unless something happens, sideshowallie will win in about 7 hours for the amazingly amazing quantity of 6,050.0453872 rupees. But a single comment from a moderator (or anyone pasting a moderator ruling) saying that his bid was invalid might change everything.
