A lot of times I've been finding myself getting to outposts/safe zones and forgetting things (being a forgetful person as I am). I am wondering what people think of enabling the /vault command from outposts. Outposts are inherently safe areas like towns, so this wouldn't affect the survival aspect of the game. On the other hand, I wouldn't have to type /town then /vault then /wherever and walk back to where I was anytime I forget anything in the future. So it makes things just slightly more convenient and doesn't have any other adverse effect I can think of. Anyways, I thought I should put it to a vote and see what other players thought.
This has been already suggested and declined.... refer to this link http://empireminecraft.com/wiki/already-suggested-ideas-for-emc/#wild
It does annoy me too, not being able to open my vault in outposts...but if it has been suggested and declined before, then it probably won't happen.
Yes. There are no player outposts as of yet. All I see on your link is 'Vault in the wild'. Which is definitely not my idea. I'm simply saying within the safe zones of the wilderness/waste you should be able to access your vault, not outside of them. The suggestion which was declined (according to the link) is vault within the entire wild.
I thought this was already possible... But it appears not, but it'll be fixed next update; https://gist.github.com/99a076b535009a1677af
