Texture pack help

  1. I recently downloaded the soartex fanver texture pack, however grass and dirt blocks appear with a nether portal and fire symbol. I was wondering if anyone knew how to alter this for me, i know you can individually change blocks but I have no way near the experience needed to do it. Here are a couple of screenshots , Thanks .   2. I did use mcpatcher, as i was using hd realism, i shall run it through again though :) Thanks

  3. I would recommend installing optifine anyways. It's a great mod that increases performance and has a lot of Perks.

  4. It looks like it hasn't been updated for 1.2.5. That's what mine looked like after the update but before I updated my texture pack. I'll have to have a look at that one. Looks good.

  5. I will download optifine now, i have heard a lot about it, i suppose i have nothing to lose :) If all else fails I guess i will just have to wait. Running it through mc patcher had no effect. And david it is a really nice texture pack , you should give it a go and let me know if you encounter the same problems :)

  6. i think david is right. the texture pack might not be compatible with 1.2.4+, as there where 3 more textures introduced (the new sandstone was already there mind you). this would offset some stuff.

  7. I had a couple with issues like this. One of them made Netherrack look like water blocks. I tried the patcher and it still didn't work so I'm gonna go with those who said the pack wasn't updated.
