  1. I think that voter's shears should have silk touch on them so that they will be more worth the 150 days of voting.

  3. The reason that they do not have Silk Touch is that, well, if you had Silk Touch shears, you would never use any other shears. Voter items are not totally op for a reason: Armor is leather, Efficiency is only at the first level, the fishing rod is more fish-oriented than treasure-oriented, etc. This is so that these items do not take too much out of Vanilla Minecraft.

  5. I thought some of the voter's tools, such as the pick, were overpowered already.

  6. Even the voter's boots or helmet you get are pretty OP in the right context. Respiration 3, Aqua Affinity 5, Unbreakable, Soulbound? Water might as well be air to me, now.
    I agree with the above, these shears are for shaving your sheep in town :]
