Yes, I know most of today's popular musicians can from either the USA or UK, but every country has to have some that are in some way famous, so why not say what you think it is for your country? I can think of three that would fit for Canada 1. Rush 2. The Tragically Hip 3. The Guess who
America: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus (eww...), Usher, Black Eyed Peas UK: ? Don't live or listen to songs from there. I hate 1D so... >_<
Italy- Andrea Bocelli Luciano Pavarotti (both operatic... there are modern pop - but these guys would be most famous) USA- Jennifer Lopez Eminem LMFAO Lady Gaga Carly Rae Jepsen (Those are the most watched youtube video artists from USA - As of 2 months ago) ...personally the artist I listen to the most (also in top 20 most watched youtube video of all time) would be Shakira... but seeing as i'm not from columbia, I can't list her D: so yeh
USA Bruce Springsteen Aerosmith Green Day Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers The number of times the artist is watched on youtube means nothing. The bands I've listed have been around since before the 90s, and still write music today.
There is a great band from Vancouver, Called Said The Whale. I like their songs This music video is heartwarming
UK Calvin Harris The Killers Bastille (I thought they were american ) USA Bruno Mars Eminem Drake? Not counting One direction or Miley Cyrus because well......they're crap.
I know that. I just put both of them at the bottom. I should have but one direction in the UK category to make it less 'confusing'
U.S.A- Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Green Day, 3 Doors Down, Lady Gaga, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Fergie. ( Also, too many others to name. ) United Kingdom- Adele, One Direction, Lorde, Bastille, Calvin Harris France- Maria Callas Netherlands - Armin van Buuren Sweden - Avicii ( There are many more, but im too lazy to name each one, also from each country. )
