I'm new, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I was out mining, and juicebox829 approached me, set me on fire, and I died. I thought there was no PvP? Is this legal? Did I miss something? Thanks.
No,PVP isnt legal,But its still possible to kill using Fire or potions ,I know that from personal experiance
No, like I said I'm new. I had no idea what he was doing. It was a small empty cave near the surface, just me, him, and a torch on the wall. He's still online right now. There aren't kill logs? Just a pain in the butt to create all new tools and lose a ton of rocks.
To make it clear, PvP is against the rules in any and all forms, flat out. In the future, try to take screenshots of this type of incident, using the F2 button. They will appear in the "C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\screenshots" folder. You can then send a private message to a mod, linking them the screenshots. You'll have to upload the images to an image sharing site like imgur, and post the link in the conversation.
aha that's how you do it!! I could never figure out before how to get the picture after I took a screenshot!! *happy face*
We are new here today as well, and juicebox829 torched my 6-year old daughter about 10 minutes ago, who I was showing how to play. I know you can't control everyone, but I'm just reportin' the facts. Guy's on a roll today, apparently.
I got killed in the same way on smp6, and it's a pain to lose your starting tools and torches. Ban him, or drench his residence in lava. No, I'm kidding. About the lava part, at least.
If all this it true there is something wrong with this juicebox829. He's 17 yrs old on his profile and should know better. Looks like he has a nice lot ... looking on live map. You just never know though.
Yeeep, this happened the first time i started playing, a guy threw buckets of lava on me twice but im glad the epic staff looked into it for me as i did not have any proof, how can you eh?
