Hey guys! So currently I'm working towards a DC of both Diamond and Emerald Ore. I've gone out over 50,000 blocks and found my own continent and will run the place dry soon. I started mining late yesterday and have obtained only 21 emerald and 47 diamond so far. I may end up working with a few others on the Emerald (They have about a stack) but I'm wondering what the prices they would be are. From what I've heard, the Emerald can fetch over 1,000,000, whereas the Diamond can only get around 500,000. I just wanna know what you think. I also wanna know if ya'll think I should just sell what I find (Assuming I'm alone) normally or if I should Auction it. Auctions can get a lot more because of convenience / quantity, but selling normally means I'm guaranteed my asking price. I don't really know the demand of a DC of these ores haha. So please state your thoughts below for prices / what I should do. I'll include a poll as well. Auction Pros: Sell it all at once Quantity attracts a higher price More convenient for both seller and buyer Auction Cons: Price may not be what you want Selling Pros: You get the price you want Selling Cons: You have to find buyers You'll have it for a while It's pretty close but I'm leaning towards Auction cuz I'm lazy.
I dont know, I think i would auction the emerald, and just sell the diamond, I say at shops 1 diamond ore=150r whereas 1 emerald ore= 350r 150r*3456= 518,400r [same price in auction?] 350r*3456= 1,290,600 [ Only 1mil in auction?] I now changed my mind, sell emeralds in shop, auction diamonds.
Only reason people like emerold ore is because it is shiny lol. And you can only find it in one biome.
I accidentally broke one open and got 3 emeralds from it if you are interested, but I don't think it's really worth it for ya haha
