Sorry DDD, there is a brand new claim that has only just started in that area, 1200 blocks away, Will McNab's. There's a lot of black space to your southeast, go in the middle of that and you should be ok. Talk to me before placing a chest or making a claim.
so it started before mine or i got their just after him? Its hard finding a good base. Im trying to find special terrain. for some reason EMC loves to rip terrain to pieces and chuck them around so its not an issue, but you need to go so far out to find anything worth while. Is there anyway to work something out with him? i just want the mountain really. Maybe i could join his outpost and pay for the mountain as private property or something.
You would need to talk to Will. It's only 1200, not 3000 away so I would say no if I were him unless you two are good buddies. If you are after that sort of terrain then you will just need to go on a long search. That is minecraft terrain generation and not much can be done.
