Well, I decided to create Tokyo Tower in Minecraft, Empire Minecraft, to be exact. Anyway, I started the actual build last night, but the idea's been there for a few months now. Since the Tokyo Tower is the 2nd tallest building in Japan, I figured that its gonna be big. I took note on OriginalScuf's Eiffel Tower on SMP7, and I realized that I need a similar structure, yet taller and skinnier, as the Eiffel is Roughly 100 feet shorter than the Tokyo Tower, and the Eiffel is much...fatter at the base. So, I decided to create the four stilts that the skyscraper sits on be 11 blocks in on all sides of the 60x60 res. If you can see on the picture, unlike it's French counterpart, the Tokyo Tower isn't in a park, its next to one. So what I decided to do is to recreate the smaller buildings at the bottom of the tower, and make them shops. This build is gonna take awhile, so don't hold your breath. I will post again when it is done, with an actual picture of the tower, seeing how as of right now, the res is literally 2 DCs, a workbench, and a 60x60 stone slab made of hundreds of other stone slabs.
I can't wait to see this in game, sounds like it will be a huge project and a lot of work. But all amazing things are worth the effort in the end! If you need any help or block donations, let me know - I'd be happy to aid where I can.
