Question on Item Elevators in EMC

  1. Which item elevators would you recommend for EMC?

    It seems like my Glass item elevators get "backed up" sometimes if I use them more than 16 blocks away from me. They also have the disadvantage of re-grouping all the items, and delaying things further. Lastly it seems like they will stop functioning in 1.9.

    How are dropper-vators in EMC? Is there a version thats much less laggy than others?

  2. My guardian farm has a dropper elevator, and works well. If you unload the chunk its in, it stops, but is an easy fix to restart

  6. I have a surefire non-breakable one that I use. It's a little slow, but it's 100% reliable.

  7. Thanks everyone. New item elevator is wonderfully reliable. It does add some lag, and isn't as pretty as the glass, but I'll take my items over that for now. Maybe Aikar will consider adding an item teleport sign for chests to save the server some lag....
