Good to know. I wish the staff would enforce rules on this forum like they do on /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade
Check out the stuff on /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade All threads have something like [H] meaning have and [W] meaning want. You have to include prices in the title and it is (I think) required to post the sale price after a sale is made. After the items/trade/auction is made/done/over you have to "close" the thread so people wont waste time visiting it unless they want to see prices. It would make finding prices so much better and save everyone a good amount of time.
So that saves what, about 30 seconds of loading a new tab then scrolling down? It's not that big of a deal unless you're lazy. Also we have [Selling], [Buying], and [Auction] for identification in the title. As for the prices in the title and posting the final sale price, the sale price is usually located in the main post if applicable and on something like this the final sale price wouldn't do anyone any good unless they were selling the exact same items in the exact same quantity. All in all you made a fair suggestion, but I don't see it being very practical or implemented in the near future.
A good amount of sale threads just delete items off their posts when they sell. It's obviously more practical when there are as many posts as that sub has but it still would be nice.
Of course, I was just talking generally. I mean there are probably a good amount of people clicking this thread thinking the sale is still on because there is no way to know the items are sold.
If necessary a mod can lock and close the thread, which is probably what I would suggest. But I think only OP can request to have it closed.
IDK, but it'll definetly keep getting clicked on as long as you & I keep it in the recent active thread category.
Yeah they can, but that is an annoying amount of work for OP and the mod. It also removes all discussion and the ability to ask questions. A flair thing like reddit would be perfect.
Are you that pressed for time that you can't spend an extra 30 seconds to find out if the offer/auction is still valid? If so then you shouldn't be playing
This could have disappeared a long time ago if someone had reported it and asked for it to be closed or the thread title changed to closed so extra comments or discussion could continue if necessary. Done.
