Calling all Enchanters: Specialty Tool Shop Co-op, Anyone?

Hmmm sorry I used have alot of sheep with gray and black but last update lost them all , check 10025 on smp5 or 10030 they have massive sheep farms or ASk Sephirothws

Hey, I have been collecting diamond, iron, and gold tools armor and weapons for a little while and find them difficult to sell due to the need for individual chests and signs for such a large variety of items. Would you consider making a bargain basement filled with rows of possible combinations of materials and enchantments. This would really be the only way i could figure to manage such a variety, adding more chests to each row as new combinations come up for purchase. Gold is oddly the lowest valued enchanted items, but sometimes they are very nice for specific or dangerous tasks, they are also easy to score good enchantments on. There is no market for these items due to the 'too many chests' issue, so a centrally managed exchange could become very popular, with a more universal appeal to customers who will eventually move to the upstairs items. It's also much easier to collect and enchant at level 10, so more people might be encouraged to make items for sale and work for higher goals.

It's enough work to keep my shop as it is, so i would welcome the chance to sell items in an exchange as i have described. i would be willing to donate signs, chests and help work out buy/sell pricing or any other way i can help. There is also the matter of bankrolling the purchases made by these chests, which would need to fall into on a few individuals. I am at 8703 on smp4 and will be looking at this thread for your reply.

I'm not exactly sure what you are suggesting. You think I should set up chests to buy enchanted items downstairs and then resell them upstairs? I've actually considered this, but it would be a LOT of work. Also, there are so many possible enchantments that it would take forever to set all that up.. I would definitely need help!

I think it would make more sense to keep it all downstairs. Low level enchanted items are not worth enough to spend a ton of time handling them. Yes, there would be a ton of setup, but then it would pretty much run itself. I think a loose organization such as single, or double enchantments, with subdivisions of weapons, armor or tools, followed by gold, iron or diamond. Wow, that is a lot of stuff, it would need to be built over time as items actually exist. I'll inventory my stuff and make a list and look up the sign codes. Then ill get back to you with a better plan.

I understand if this isn't really something you want to add, it was more of a brainstorm than a business plan.
