  6. Brick, you're smarter than this, And I know you know that we are smarter than that. The post you made, served only one purpose, to incite unfairness. If the statement held any merit to anything it would have been let go, but what you did was the equivalent of being on a server, and when someone is about to make a trade with Player A, I broadcast 'YOU KNOW PLAYER A WAS BANNED AT ONE TIME? JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT' Its propaganda plain and simple.

    You may realize now what you said, was not really appropriate, and now you are back peddling, but you know, And everyone who read that knew, you were trying to make a point that there was favoritism there. If anyone on this entire staff team has worked for what they have, its Joe. Joe has sat quietly, knowing that because he was friends with certain people, he may never get a chance to show what he was good it, that he had the skills. We WANTED Joe to be a staff member, that is not something I will keep a secret. Because I know Joe, as a person. And in time, I would not be surprised if Joe single handedly helps players see a new definition of a 'Good EMC Staff member'. But, we wanted to make sure he got it on his own. Because tainting an accomplishment like that with something like 'being a friend', is an insult. Joe worked hard for what he got, and you even HALF WAY implying it was for any other reason than the fact Joe is probably one of the hardest working players on this server, is insulting to him.

    You know what you said. Man up, thats what this thread is about. You said something because you wanted someone to share a thought you believed to be true, do not devalue your opinion by 'changing' it because you feel it may be wrong now.

    Any kid can share an opinion. It takes an adult to know how to 'it was wrong'.

  9. So you are saying that someone that works their butt off for this community and is amazing moderator material should be passed up BECAUSE of their affiliation with another staff? If so, that's bias of another kind and we aren't bias. This won't change.

  18. Why don't I take a different approach and ask ICC if he can construct for us a description of what they're looking for for moderators? Heres my reasoning: he has told numerous people who should be moderators, even senior staff, that they aren't 'the right fit' for moderator... I'd like to know what the right fit is so that I can compare it to those who were denied for that reaason. Jeremy says he's usually good about judging those types of things, but when I look over the list of moderators I don't see how that lines up with what he's said in the past... ICC, mind clearing any of that up at all orrrr do you just want to let it hang there and remain unsolved? Someone somewhere said something about staff being transparent... can I see through it, please?

  19. It's been posted many times in the past. Pretty sure you told me you disagreed with them because you'd make an excellent mod due to being a manager at a store. Because you disagree with a working system, doesn't mean it's wrong.
