Hello c: I am super excited to start university in January and I can't hold it in anymore online... So I wanna see what people are majoring in and how their university experince/s have been so far! I will be attending University to major in Information technology with an emphasis in Cyber Security c: I love computers and I love learning new stuff about them. I reasoned that since I knew that I wanted to go into the technology field I started researching and I decided on a major with an emphasis in cyber security as major companies are obviously heavily reliant on security to protect them from competition and evil-doers... And as everyone knows technology job sector will continue to grow for quite a while. So thats the basics for me, I know there are those of you guys that are computer science degrees, but thats just too much math involved for me So im intrested in seeing what everyone else is majoring in or has majored in-- it doesnt have to be IT related!
I am currently looking an universities and I want to study film production as I find it super interesting, I am looking forwards to it however I am straying away from what my family did/is currently doing which is slightly scary but I think I will be fine
How fun! What parts of film production are you intrested in? I completely understand that it might be scary to start to deviate from your parents as Im at the very end of relying on my parents as I will be living on campus in a dorm at the end of December. Holy hell can I not wait.. Ive had enough long story shorr living at my parent's house. Only if they knew half of the stuff I've done/ do. xD
The reason why I chose film production is because I am not too sure what part of the film industry I want to delve into, my course covers most aspects and then I could progress in one aspect in which I am most interested in.
I am not quite as close to going to the university, But as I thought you might be interseted, I am most-likely going to do Technical Maths or Aerospace Engenering. According to friends of mine I am most-likely going to be learning untill I'm Prof. Dr. Ir, but I'm not sure about that, even though I am quite addicted to leanring new things, mainly when it comes to maths, I might actually do it the normal way Also, it's nice to see where I need to go to if my computer stops working again, I am quite bad with working with computers, well, with using programs that are ment to be userfriendly that it, I'm actually quite good at doing programming (or was, I didn't do that in two years) but getting my mail working... well... that took me over two hours... And for sach (as I feel like wring essays today) I nor know anything about films and such, The ony ones I make are the ones with the camera with my 4 years old smartphone, and the only ones I watch are, well, I'm sorry, I usually don't really watch films...
Doing my second year in biomed at my university's engineering college. I'll be going for at least a masters, though I may end up going full-fledged medical doctor.
Planning on doing microbiology and biochemistry at Yale starting next year september. Currently in senior year graduating in december this year. (Australia is a bit different). After that, I will be going on and majoring in immunology and vaccine research at pfizer
I recently learnt that many universities in the Netherlands have only got vacation at Christmas, and in Summer. Is that true in other countries as well? I can't imagine going several months without one or two weeks off school.
