This is not a political role. Even then, this is Minecraft! The entire goal of the game is to build up and earn your items. The game itself is the opposite of socialism! This role is supposed to help organization within the community. Please do not attempt turn this into something it isn't.

We will name Aikar the General Secretary, myself the Premier, the other Admins as heads of the Politburo and vice-Premiers, the Senior Staff as Politburo Members, the Moderators as People's Commissars, ICC as Kerensky, JustinGuy as Nicholas II. And you can be a White Army general! If you haven't realised yet, this is mainly a joke. But I will form the Communist Party.
Too complicated. Rule 1: it's all for the banter. Kitten has already made it clear it's a joke, but I would say that if he does get elected and hence has the support of the EMC community, I don't see why he couldn't seek to promote socialist ideas in the community with his role. You do argue that the point of the game is to work for your items, and that's a valid opinion. But some do argue that Minecraft is about working together, and left-wing ideologies and organisation is conducive to this. I've witnessed both left and right wing schemes work on other servers, so don't be so quick to show doubt.
