Avalauncher

The 2014-20 Holiday Seasons brought snow golem known as Blizz Ard to the Empire, which uses the Avalauncher as its weapon. The Avalauncher snowball is a companion item for the mob, acting as a mechanized part of Blizz Ard that will allow any player who obtains it to fire snowballs infinitely.

The lore shown in the information on the right shows the 2014 version. The 2015 to present versions of the Avalauncher do not show the year in its lore, instead reading "Happy Holidays" in red text.

Obtaining an Avalauncher(top)

To obtain an Avalauncher in 2014, players had to redeem one for Tokens rather than killing the mob. Since 2015, players could either use Tokens to purchase the Avalauncher or they could defeat Blizz Ard, getting an Avalauncher as a potential rare drop.

The introduction of a Token exchange meant that the Avalauncher could be redeemed as a promotional item, an offer lasting only for the Holiday period. This could be achieved initially by filling out the form in this thread but was later automated and available via an in-game command (/tbuy avalauncher) in 2014 for 20,000 Tokens. Since 2015, the command can be used to purchase an Avalauncher for 10,000 Tokens.
