Conditionally Approved Mods
  • Conditionally Approved Mods
The following mods are allowed as long as these specific conditions are met.
    HUD and Map Mods
ALL radar functions, including cave and mob radars, must be off before use of these mods on EMC.
    Game-changing Aesthetic Mods
These aesthetic mods are not to be used in competitive events to gain an advantage. This applies to both official server events and player hosted.
Additionally these are not to be used in a toggleable manner to circumvent intentional game design beyond what can be accomplished using in-game video settings.

Example of disallowed use: to toggle-on night vision like brightness while mining to avoid the restriction of lowered visibility, instead of utilizing light sources.
    Litematica
    Litematica- Fabric
    • No Easy Place function.
    • No printer function.
    • Do not use the mod to save any area that you are not intended to have access to normally. Example: Other players' builds that you did not ask permission to view.
    • Do not use Litematica to locate mob spawners, special ores, etc on EMC.
    • Do not use Litematica to cheat in any event on EMC.
    World Downloader
    World Downloader
    • Do not use the mod to save any area that you are not intended to have access to normally. Example: Other players' builds that you did not ask permission to view.
    • Do not use World Downloader to locate mob spawners, special ores, etc on EMC.
    • Do not use World Downloader to cheat in any event on EMC.
    Replay Mod
    Replay Mod
    • No camera mods will be approved which allow you to move in unnatural ways in game. Examples: flying, clipping, etc.
    • Do not use any approved camera mod to see into any area that you are not intended to have access to normally. Similar to World Downloader rules above.
    Macros, Keybinds, Auto-Clickers, Etc

These rules apply to all macro mods even if the listed mods do not do these things.
    • Macros are allowed on EMC to be used with the intention of reducing muscle fatigue and lowering the chance for nerve damage caused by excessive repetitive motions often found in video gaming. Repetitive breakage of the rules defined below will result in increased Staff action. The use of any macro, keybinding mod, non-Minecraft computer program, or automatic clicking of any kind (regardless of method) must adhere to the following restrictions:
    • No world interaction while away.
      • Your account may not actively interact (clicking, auto-spawning, etc) in Minecraft if you are not able to respond to a Staff member within a reasonable amount of time. Leaving your account logged in and interacting with the world while you are not responsive is defined as being 'away'. If you leave your account running and are away for more than 3 minutes, please disable any auto-clicking abilities.
    • No performing more than 1 immediate action per click
      • You may not automate the clicking of multiple actions with one click. If you trade with a villager with any automatic function, then you need to click your key the required amount of times and in the set time limit. If you complete a trade 30 times with 30 clicks in 10 seconds, that is okay. Completing the same action with 1 click and/or within 1 second is not okay.
    • No automatic clicking faster than the set limits.
      • Any faster than 3 clicks per second is not allowed. While we are aware that some people can click faster than this, the clicking ability limit is set by what is sustainable for long periods of time.
    • No simultaneous world interactions on multiple accounts at once.
      • If you are using an alt account to mine with an auto-clicker at the same time as you are actively fighting a mob, this is not allowed, regardless of being able to respond actively or what method you use to do so. Only one account may actively interact with EMC at a time.
      • Note: Using multiple accounts that are operated by multiple people behind multiple computers is acceptable.
    • No using macros/keybinds/auto-clickers during events on EMC.
      • Events are intended to be equal for all attendees. Utilizing any auto-clicker, keybind, macro, etc during events is never allowed.
    Vivecraft
    Vivecraft
    • This mod allows Minecraft to be played with VR. To give a usable VR experience, the mod alters vanilla movement mechanics in ways which are not possible with an unmodified Minecraft client. This mod is approved with the strict direction not to move in impossible manners; the meaning of this is elaborated below...
    • Disallowed movements include (but not limited to) wall climbing, clipping through walls, flying, and moving faster than vanilla run speed.
    • In general, this mod shall not be used to see/travel into any area that you are not intended to have access to normally.

    Inventory Profiles
    Inventory Profiles

Most features are permitted, the following mod settings are not allowed (disabled by default).
    • "Disable Block Breaking Cooldown" - Not allowed due to breaking blocks faster than possible in unmodded clients.
    • "Disable Item Use Cooldown" - Not allowed due to using items faster than possible in unmodded clients.
    • "Disable Lava Fog" - See above section regarding Game-changing Aesthetic Mods.

EMC allows modifications that don't give an unfair advantage over others.
